Postnatal Support
The early weeks with a new baby can be wonderful, overwhelming, exhausting – and often all three at once.
There can be so much focus on your new arrival that it’s easy for your own wellbeing, questions and confidence to get lost along the way.
My postnatal visit gives you up to two hours of care and support. A relaxed, nurturing session dedicated entirely to your wellbeing, giving you the opportunity to feel heard and reassured as you navigate life after birth.
Every visit is individual to you and your baby, and you don’t have to have completed one of our antenatal courses to book a postnatal visit.

We can explore areas such as:
Your emotional wellbeing and adjustment to life with a new baby.
Breast and bottle feeding.
Newborn sleep, normal sleep patterns and safer sleep.
Understanding your baby’s cues and behaviour.
Settling, soothing, and newborn care.
Rest, recovery, and looking after yourself.
Birth reflection and your experience of becoming a parent.
Any worries, questions, or concerns that have cropped up since coming home.
There is no rushed appointment, and no list of questions you should be asking. This is your time to talk things through and feel heard.
Where something needs additional or specialist support, I can also signpost you to the right person or service.
